What are the hours of the school day?
Currently our school days run from 8:00am until 2:45pm. Students can begin getting dropped off at 7:45am.
Occasionally we will have a half day of school in which students will be picked up at 11:30am.
Do you have school uniforms?
We do! Students are required to wear school uniforms every day. Generally, our students wear navy polos on top and khaki on the bottom. There are various details specific to boys and girls in our parent/student handbook, but this is the general guideline.
Do you have a recess time?
We provide our students with two opportunities for recess during the school day. Each class takes a break mid-morning for recess, and there is also a 45 minute lunch, which provides enough time for another good chunk of recess midday.
Our students have opportunities to go outside in the field with various recess equipment, enjoy time on the blacktop to play games like four square and hop scotch, or go to the indoor gym.
Do you serve breakfast or lunch?
No, we do not serve breakfast or lunch. Currently, we expect that students have eaten breakfast before school and that they bring their own packed lunch from home.
Does your school have a chapel time?
We have a chapel time every morning at Tall Oaks. We start chapel at 8:15am, when students have had a chance to settle in. The whole school meets in the chapel, sings a hymn of the month together, is lead in prayer, says the pledge of allegiance, and receives announcements and brief teaching and exhortation from administrative staff.
How do I enroll my child?
Our entire admissions process can be found under the admissions tab at the top of our website. The first step is filling out and sending in an application.
Do you have a multiple student discount?
Currently, we do not have multiple student discount because we have kept our tuition a bit lower, but this is something we continue to consider for the future.

Do you allow parent volunteers to come in and help?
Yes! It is in the first words of our mission statement that we are “partnering with Christian parents.” Because of this, we love to have parents come in and volunteer to help out in various ways. It could be classroom help or other ways. We do require that all volunteers have a background check completed and that they coordinate with the school before coming in to help.
How big are class sizes?
Currently, our class sizes are capped at 15 students per class.
